One-Pin Sights vs. Multiple-Pin Sights
There has been a growing question in the bowhunting community in the past several years. Are one-pin sights or multiple-pin sights better for bowhunting? We have our opinion, as others have theirs as well.
We both shoot one-pin sights at TNT. We have tried many different styles of sights and many different brands of sights and fell in love with one-pin sights from HHA Sports. We first started shooting one-pin sights two seasons ago and really began to like the idea.
One-pins are perfect for both bowhunting and 3D shooting. In the “off-season” months, we shoot our bows to stay in shape and also compete in 3D tournaments. A one-pin sight is perfect for both of these shooting categories. In our opinion, they are best because there are no distractions of seeing multiple pins. There is one pin, allowing the archer to concentrate in the heat of the moment.
Another advantage of the new HHA one-pin sights is that setup is fast and easy. Using the included setup tape you simply sight in at 20 and 60 yards and then select the proper tape and you’re dialed in TO THE YARD out to 100 yards.
So, next time you are in the market for a new sight for your setup, take your time and consider looking into one-pin sights, especially the all-new HHA lineup. We were leery of one-pin sights at first, but we are very happy we made the switch.
